Xbox exec Matt Booty has attempted to clarify Microsoft's new position on game exclusivity, following the reveal that Gears of War: E-Day and Clockwork Revolution will never come to PlayStation.

At IGN Live today, Todd McFarlane stopped by to show off some of the upcoming figures from McFarlane Toys, with a focus on characters from the Fallout series and Helldivers 2, as the company continues to bolster its video game-based releases. First up was the Paladin Danse figure from from Fallout 4, which is part of the Elite Series, or as McFarlane jokingly referred to as "the Cadillac model," as it allows for more complicated sculpts, more paint, and more accessories. However, he stressed they always wanted to have different lines at different price points, knowing everyone wouldn't want or be able to afford the more high end versions.

Lara Croft is going back to the beginning in the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, a new remake of the original Tomb Raider game from 1996. Taking on the beloved role of Lara Croft for this incarnation is Alix Wilton Regan, who spoke about the game and her famous character at IGN Live today. During the panel, IGN debuted a snippet of the new "Meet Lara Croft" featurette in which Regan and the game's creators speak about the long legacy of the character and bringing to life her latest incarnation, and which you can watch the full video of above. So what's it like stepping into the shoes (or boots) of a character as well known as Lara Croft? Said Regan, "It’s amazing. Lara is a British cultural icon, she’s a global icon. She is loved and I love her as much as everyone else, so I’m ecstatic." She described Lara as "so completely confident in herself, in her abilities, her brain, her body, her being."
